THE ICOSAHEDRON is an experiment in building an integral modular treehouse from a 20-sided geometric shape formed of equilateral triangles. The capsule is rigged between multiple Eucalyptus trees. The structure is made from treated bamboo, serving for light weight and flexibility with thin jute and mud walls and light weight windows. SS metal wire hangs from the Eucalyptus trees and anchors the Icosahedron at the top, such that it hangs suspended. The floor is made of Acacia auriculiformis planks with a trap door descending to a staircase which supports itself on a triangular structure.
